With fewer household cares, a built-in social network and myriad options for learning and doing, residents can focus on living fully and following their heart’s desires.
The One and Only Attic Angel
Historically, Attic Angel – the House That Angels Built – represents a cornerstone for retirement living, health and well-being in Greater Madison and Dane County. Attic Angel’s reputation for quality of life stems from deep, local roots and a rich heritage of caring for community, within our walls and beyond.
In fact, the members of Attic Angel Association make up the sisterhood of community-minded women who built and continue to direct the future of our not-for-profit Attic Angel Community; they have likewise made a mark in service to Dane County’s children, families and older adults since 1889.
Independent Lifestyle Options
Attic Angel offers two community options for active, independent living: our large neighborhood of ranch-style homes and our apartments that are convenient to campus amenities.

Attic Angel fully honors and promotes independence to the highest level possible for the longest practical duration. As support needs evolve, however, Attic Angel offers levels of assisted living, and existing members of our community receive priority access.

The Angels, as we call them, provide a unique vitality and added service to the flow of life here. You won’t find a network of members and volunteers like them at any other community. Together with our residents, we take pride in being the one and only Attic Angel: just one location and like no other!
