Attic Angel Prairie Point is an active adult community for those fifty-five and better– a beautiful neighborhood of curved streets that connect 123 single-level homes. The life lease offers a nice transition from the responsibilities of owning a home and brings new joys with the building of a new community of friends.
Ranch-Style Homes
Our homes come in more than 20 floor plans ranging in size from 1,375 to 2,300 square feet. All have private entrances, attached garages, two or three bedrooms, and full basements. Our smoke-free policy assures the best in health for everyone, and approved pets are welcome as residents make their new house a happy home!
Life Lease: How It Works
Instead of buying the home, residents sign a life lease to live in the house in addition to paying a low monthly service fee that covers neighborhood security, home and yard maintenance, and Attic Angel amenities and programming.
The life lease residency fee is equal to the full fair-market value of the unit (currently $375,000 to $750,000), and 90% of that initial amount is returned to the resident or family at the end of the lease, once the home has been re-leased to a new resident. Beneficial notes: Prairie Point residents are not responsible for property taxes and residents receive priority access to other living settings within Attic Angel if future support is needed.
Convenient Suburban Neighborhood
Prairie Point is just blocks off Madison’s Beltline and is convenient to retail, restaurants, health care, nature and arts/entertainment options. It is well situated to enjoy nearby Dane County communities and lies within walking distance to Attic Angel Place, where residents have a built-in monthly dining credit and access to programming and social activities (think “Happy Hour” and enrichment classes!).

Support for Life’s Journey
Prairie Point residents live actively and independently; they may arrange their own in-home health care and continue to live in the life lease home as long as they are safe doing so. At some point, residents may find it beneficial to enjoy life with the built-in services provided in Attic Angel Place.
