Recuperative Stays & Respite
Attic Angel is long known and locally loved for its exceptional care in nursing residents back to health. We welcome short-term stays for recuperation after hospitalizations and when a resident’s regular at-home caregivers might need a break, or respite. Recuperative stays are available in both Bryant Ridge assisted living and Gorham Glen catered living.
How It Works:
Attic Angel rolls out the welcome mat for new residents age 55+ who need care for a minimum of 14 days. Long-term living in either Gorham Glen or Bryant Ridge at the end of the agreement may be an option, based on availability. All suites and services are private pay and on-site therapy services are billable to Medicare and/or most insurance.
Recuperative stays are like a “stay-cation” with care support, delicious food, and life enrichment opportunities— our Angels can be available to assist getting to our many campus events. The suites come furnished (bed, lamp, chair, television, telephone, microwave, refrigerator, wardrobe, and decor), and all meals are included in the stay. With an on-site hair salon and more, additional pampering is also an option.

Licensed to Heal
Though Gorham Glen is not a skilled nursing facility, we do offer clinical expertise and amenities to help residents reach their highest level of independence and quality of life. Our on-site rehabilitation therapy gym and robust wellness program provide convenient opportunities to improve physical health and increase a range of abilities needed for daily life. In addition, we recognize that socialization is part of the healing process too.
