Community Grants

Attic Angel Association awards community grants to nonprofit community organizations each year as part of its mission to assist seniors and children. A compelling community need is identified each spring by the Association board of directors as the focus for the coming year’s awards

For 2024-25, the annual focus is FOR COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS TO PREVENT HOUSING INSECURITY FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN.

2023-24 Recipients of Gift Funds 

Attic Angel congratulates the six nonprofit organizations that received funds with programs meeting the needs of the 2024-25 annual focus: “For Collaborative Efforts to Help Families With School-Age Children to Address Housing Insecurity.”

  1. Briarpatch Youth Services Connection Advocacy Program – $25,000
  2. Goodman Community Center Emergency Housing Assistance Project – $5,000
  3. Habitat for Humanity Home Ownership Program – $17,596
  4. RISE Wisconsin Housing Assistance Fund – $25,000
  5. Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center Emergency Assistance Fund – $8,000
  6. United Way of Dane County Reducing School Mobility Program – $20,000
  7. WayForward Resources (formerly Middleton Outreach Ministry) Housing Stabilization Program – $20,000
