Support Our Extra Needs For COVID-19

Health Support

Nursing Services Middleton & Madison WI at Attic Angel

Our health support services come with what we call “the Attic Angel touch” – a high quality of care and a family-like level of comfort and caring. It comes from a rich and experienced tradition of commitment to the long-term health needs of seniors.

Apartments with Services (RCAC): In our most independent living option, residents enjoy the safety net of emergency response and access to staff for scheduled health support services. In addition, a full-time registered nurse supervisor oversees staffing and the changing needs of residents.

Assisted Living/Households (RCAC): A full-time registered nurse manager oversees staffing and the changing needs of residents, while dedicated resident services staff assist with health support as needed throughout the day.

Assisted Living/Health Center (CBRF): The Health Center offers a comfortable, home-like setting with private, accessible bathrooms and kitchenettes. Staff oversee the daily needs of both long-term residents and those here for short-term recuperative stays.

Memory Care/Haven (CBRF): The Haven is managed by an experienced memory care professional and provides 24-hour supervision in a safe, inviting and comfortable setting.

All Levels: 24-hour emergency response

Other Services

Medication Management

Residents are supported in their desire to preserve independence and manage medications for as long as they are able. For those who require assistance to maintain safety and meet their treatment goals, we have a specially trained medication administration team whose primary responsibility is to provide residents with the right medication at the right time. They give undivided attention to the details of each resident’s medication regimen.

Pharmacy Services

Attic Angel partners with Guardian Pharmacy. Specializing in long-term care, the pharmacists visit Attic Angel regularly to review residents’ medications and to give each resident the best chance at improving or maintaining health.

The Playing Field

The Playing Field Poster

Children affected by trauma such as homelessness and those with special needs such as autism spectrum disorders have different sensory needs for emotional support that helps them learn to manage behaviors. Our dream is to create a play space that allows children to be successful while ... being kids! Some of our plans:

  • A large open space for running (crowded spaces are often a behavior trigger for children)
  • High fencing and an appropriate climbing structure (children impacted by trauma or those on the autism spectrum often take bigger risks and climb higher)
  • Sensory panels that welcome independent play when children are agitated
  • A maze for children to walk through (this helps the brain to organize)
  • Small structures where children can feel safe
  • Specially designed pieces to work large muscle groups

By helping children at this critical point in their development, your gift will be helping the future of our community!
