Volunteering / Attic Angel Association
Attic Angel Association – the volunteer and fund-raising arm of Attic Angel Community – has been the wind beneath the wings of community service in Madison since 1889.
The first “attic angels,” descending from their attic with armloads of goods to share, focused on the health and human service needs of children. Eventually, their hearts encompassed older adults as well. Today, the needs of both children and seniors are in the forefront of our volunteer efforts, with a focus on serving the living and health care needs of Attic Angel Community residents.
More than 500 volunteer Angels provide approximately 35,000 hours of service and give grants totalling more than $150,000 annually for causes that benefit children and seniors throughout Dane County. Our signature fund-raising events allow the whole community to participate in our good works, but it is our Angels who make it all happen.
We invite you to look deeper into who we are and to join the Angels in working for the good of the community. When you become a member of our historic Attic Angel Association, you will make a mark that will live well into the future!
